For awhile this morning, the rain was coming down so much I couldn't see five feet past the glass door. It seems to have slackened off for now, though every twenty to fourty seconds there's a boom of thunder. I was momentarily blinded by lightning that came down somewhere close when I happened to be staring out the window. As long as it doesn't hail, I'll be happy thought I loathe the idea of trying to drive to work in this. Part me of very much wants to go in late.

It was beautiful on Sunday, and drizzled steadily though Monday. I had a really nice weekend, even if I didn't write about it because I was too tired, sated, content, etc. I spent it hanging out with Melynda and Tyler, playing video games, eating the occaisional bit of ice cream, breakfast tacos, cards and random conversation. Melynda brought me new pants. I'm almost back to the size I was about three years ago, and that makes me happy.

I watched the Sopranos, which had me stressed out right until the end. I had to laugh when Paulie sat there talking. It was the funniest thing. I still haven't watched Big Love, but I recorded the past two weeks so I'll catch up soon.
