So the tornados didn't flatten my home. But they did fry my computer and put out power for almost twelve hours. Updates wll be sporadic, as I'm using a computer at someone else's house. If you need me, give me a phone call. Updates at 11...

tornado land

One would think, since I'm a native Texan and spent my formative years in the Panhandle, I would be used to such things. One would think... ;)

It used to drive me crazy that my birthday falls right in the middle of tornado season, and for my 17th, a giant tornado flattened a small town just north of me. Sheesh. Last night wasn't too bad, except for being home alone with the cat. When I heard the wind pick up and saw all the trees go flat, I hid in the bathroom. Heh. Everything looks better this morning. Aside from my computer and a strange scrape on my car window, everything is fine.

Now just hope it doesn't storm when I have to get on the plane!! ;)
