Prague. My God. What a place.

The contrast of the old and the less old, the beauty and the dirt, the architecture and the smell of benzine... everything is strange. I feel so foreign here.

I go from being stressed by everything, the sounds, the air, the smells to the edge of a panic attack. But it comes and goes, so I'm not worried. Really I like it more and more. It's strange. I think Patrick might like the decay that seems to be everywhere.

Internet U Kepleru is across the street from statues of Kepler & Tycho Brahe. It astounds me to be in a place this old, a place that has been through so much. I wonder about the stairs in Charles, if Nazis walked ont hem, destroyed them, if the Soviets tore it apart, if what I see today is what stood when the building went up centuries ago. This place vibrates. I can feel it.

I celebrated my birthday in a pub last night, eating duck and drinking pivo with Hana and Cragi and all the others. I feel so old. I still can't believe I'm here.

I hope you are having the time of your life, even though I know you prolly are.... Are we going to get to see photos? I can scan them if you don't have access to a digi-cam or anything like that.
