small things

threeplusfireToday I got my hair cut short and cute, and I bought the most awesome outfit cobbled together from the new things and the sales rack, including this awesome jacket. Normally I hate buying jackets because I am short and the fit is always problematic. But this fits, and I love it immensely.
Today is humid, from the hours of rain that came down. It's nothing like the beautiful fall weather of five years ago, but I suppose nothing is ever going to be like that again. one of the professors at UT has been conducting some sort of study to determine if there is a "generation 9/11" and all I can think is why the fuck couldn't I have been Generation X instead?
Today I drove home listening to Rock Kills Kid and thinking that I felt like I was in a Zach Braff movie.
