small things

Today I got my hair cut short and cute, and I bought the most awesome outfit cobbled together from the new things and the sales rack, including this awesome jacket. Normally I hate buying jackets because I am short and the fit is always problematic. But this fits, and I love it immensely.

Today is humid, from the hours of rain that came down. It's nothing like the beautiful fall weather of five years ago, but I suppose nothing is ever going to be like that again. one of the professors at UT has been conducting some sort of study to determine if there is a "generation 9/11" and all I can think is why the fuck couldn't I have been Generation X instead?

Today I drove home listening to Rock Kills Kid and thinking that I felt like I was in a Zach Braff movie.

You can be an honorary Generation X member. Because I declare it so. You've always been one of us in spirit.

Gen X Rocks. And so does that jacket. Dayum! Are you watching Project Runway? Are you loving it?

I'm in love with my new jacket.

OMG Project Runway! The show is great. Can I just say I'm glad Vincent and Angela are gone so we can focus more on actual designs instead of the crazy?

Nice jacket. Oh to have the figure for one!

I looked at it hanging in the store for at least twenty minutes before I tried it on. I'm fairly short, and I have big farmer's wife hips so I often can't find a jacket that fits on my shoulders and then doesn't get hung up. But it is cut very short, just to the waist and so it works magic. I sort of want one in a half dozen colors and fabrics now.

Carry On

I just LOVE Michael "Captain Save-a-Ho". And Laura's comments crack me up. "There's some serious ugly in this room right now." Jeffrey needs to take his arrogant ass somewhere else. I think Uli, Jeffrey, and Michael are going to be the final three...you? I just can't see Laura holding up enough to make hip young dresses for the Olsen twins!

My picks have been Laura, Jeffrey and Michael for the final three. Mostly because I love Uli but she keeps making the same things over and over again. I really hope Laura's just cracking up because she's stressed and hangs in there.

Captain Save-A-Ho!!! Hahahaha too funny. Jeffrey makes me incensed with his bratty behavior.
