Hey, realise it's a delicate subject but lighten up a little.
I was merely wondering in print (aloud not being an option here) how many of those coming down sohard in their condemnation of the parents in yr article had actually had personal experience of small children of their own. NOT implying that anyone was short of sympathy.
As I wrote - I DON'T condone the behaviour (of the parents) but, having raised two of our own, DO understand how some of the impulses may arise.
Difference. Mainly between British & American use of language? ;)
