Today was rough, and not in any sort of fun way. If I'm going ot feel bruised and tired I need to be having a lot more fun. My trainee had a rough time today, and I was mad on her behalf. Few things get under my skin as much as incompetant idiots in positions of responsibility who want to tell us what to do. Argh. My contact ripped, right in the middle, while I was at work yesterday. I ended up having to drive home with only one contact, which was slightly disorienting. I don't recommend that.

I've decided we need a party Saturday night. Melynda will be in town, and we're already having Sarah over for dinner. That's what, half the people I know already? Hah. We'll see who else we can scare up.
