I turn the music up so it drowns us out.

Out in our parking lot, a man in a white pickup truck set up a couple tripods with a dish and an antenna. It's all plugged into a battery. Either it is some fancy weather monitoring equipment (most likely) or someone has found our "undisclosed" office location and is going to bomb us. Proof that we are so jaded? No one seems phased.

A coworker bought my lunch since I am the person who 99% of the time does the Saturday lunch run. While that may not be recognition of my work, it is at least recognition of something I do for my unit. It's windy outside, and grey. If it wasn't so humid it would be a good day. The storms just don't seem to be going away. We need the rain. The lake finally broke 670 for the first time since the fall of 2005.

Since I'm on ereports for the day due to the twenty four hour backlog, I get to listen to music and don't have to answer the phone. I think Lights Out by Sugarcult and Samstown by The Killers are the two albums I've listened to the most in the past four months. They really fit the mood, the changes in my life.

I have excuses to buy new bath products. This is a good thing.

Since when do you need an excuse to buy bath products? Also, what is the excuse?
