there I go, messing up my sleep schedule again..

Sitting here on the edge of the chair, listening to the whir of the fan, the endless cycle of Headline News, the cat on the balcony knocking things around, the computer hum, my hands on the keyboard... and I'm really not very satisfied. Partially because I'm hot and restless. I hate being hot like this. After a lifetime in Texas, I still get irritable in the heat.

Doesn't help that I'm still coughing, and my voice strains like it is about to disappear entirely. Perhaps if I go without speaking for twenty four hours, it will return to normal.

I can't sleep again. If I wasn't feeling drained from all the coughing, I would just drive to Metro and spend the rest of the night sitting up there. I'm not really sure I want to sit alone there all night though. I suppose I could read and play solitare and smoke too many cigarettes. I just want to play mah-johng though.

Melynda said we'd re-celebrate my birthday by purchasing some vodka, so perhaps we can go to the liquor store and be bewildered by the vast array of bottles. We could drink and play loud rounds of mah-johng in the living room with Jim and maybe some others. It would be nice. A little party of sorts.

Assuming I wake up at a reasonable hour before noon, I want to go swimming. Before the sun becomes a lethal weapon.

I'm sleepy.

Excellent, one should always be prepared. ;)

One of my friends in Prague discovered this cheap brand of green apple vodka that was probably the most awful green liquid on earth. It was verily a tool of the Devil. Beware green vodka!
