Layer Cake

I am honestly surprised that Layer Cake wasn't more of a big hit. I don't remember it being released. But Daniel Craig is wonderful, and the shots are beautifully composed. The soundtrack is amazing. I'm not sure I've seen a gansters and guns and drugs film this good in ages. It is full of menace.

I dug that up at random a couple years ago on the ecstasy reference alone. Very good, especially for such a sleeper.
