i agree with the cook 3 nights theory. unless you detest leftovers and have mastered making meals for two :)
for example this week i made: tortilla soup homemade mac & cheese w/ panko bread crumbs and a green salad breakfast tacos with roasted red potatos
we had plenty of the first two things for 2 meals. today i bought some fried chicken and we had it with the mac (we had this for lunch and dinner-- we had a busy day) tomorrow we're having a party and on a normal week we'd go out or i'd change up a meal from leftover ingredients (for example there are still potatos left...)
