They just put up the Yule scents. Man. I wish I wasn't so addicted to wonderful smelling soaps and lotions and perfumes and candles and things. Also? Shojo Beat scents! I kinda want Vampire Tears: Regret born from ceaseless longing: wisteria, white grapefruit, neroli, green tea, jasmine, white ginger, honeysuckle, iris, and tonka. Super goth and awesome.

Also? I crave a bar of Miskatonic University soap. It's one of my favorite scents to wear, coffee and wood and books and menace.

My favorite scents from this year's Yule update:

ARCHANGEL WINTER: Crystalline, glassy ice whipped by a snowstorm. Piercing ozone, winter darkness.
This sounds lovely, cold and clean. I love that ozone smell.

EL DIA DE REYES: Hot cocoa with cinnamon, coffee, and brown sugar.
I need to smell like this every day. Oh delicious.

MISTLETOE 2007: The plant of peace in Norse tradition. If enemies met in the forest and came upon a sprig, they laid down their arms and observed a truce until the next sunrise.
I've smelled previous incarnations of this scent and it was like the perfect smell of Christmas trees. I adore Christmas trees.

ROSE RED 2007: The perfected winter rose, dew covered and freshly cut.

THE SNOW STORM: Winter aconite, balsam fir, cedar leaf, and white mint.
Cedar and mint are two of my favorites!

I am so afraid of BPAL. I mean I know me and my brain. I will want to try EVERYTHING. THen my house will be full of imps. EVERYWHERE, like house elves only more so. What's a human to do ? They really need to open up a chain store like Sephora. Can you imagine? A BPAL in the mall :)

I was thinking that you and I and Chelle (and anyone else you know locally) should come up with a group order to put in at the next full moon on the 25th. I doubt we'd hit free shipping, but at least we could share the cost of shipping, and maybe split bottles. Of your list, I'd be happy to split a bottle of Archangel Winter with you (I've still got empties I can decant my half into).

Doh, along those lines... I have decants of all the Haunted House series, and don't want to keep any of them. Two are going to Chelle, and as soon as I get my shit together I was going to list the others for sale, but if you want to sniff them first I can pop out to meet you at some point before doing that. I've also got an October incoming, so I can try it and maybe order a bottle.
