Mike's flight was delayed for three hours last night. I spent about an hour walking back and forth across the baggage claim area to stay awake, watching people. There was the girl who looked like she could have been Adrianna Moltosanti's cousin, with a bad nose job and tight black jeans. She was bulimic skinny, and wear heeled white lace-up books with furry tops and big furry pom-poms. There was also the very tall Chinese transsexual in a wool & fur coat, a girl in a hideous pink and grey 8-'s oversize sweater with leggings, a fifty-something, large white man wearing striped parachute pants, more modsquad hipsters in their 20s than on 4th street, and a dude who could have been Iggy Pop's brother wearing a Johnny the Homicidial Maniac hoodie. At least it was somewhat entertaining. I was full of relief to see Mike though, at 12:30 in the morning.
