Anton Nosik thinks LJ users are "unfriendly forces"

My favorite part of his interview at http://www.izbrannoe.info/30184.html, when asked how he feels about the boycott and calls to boycott advertisers who use LJ:

Naturally, no. Where will you find idiots who will call the serious companies? It is one thing to call the newspaper in hope that it will glorify you on the pages. And in business... In the same place it will start to ask: " And you who? And why I should listen to you? "

I think we should show Nosik just why they should listen to their users. Because we aren't going to pay for this bullshit.

Re boycotting the advertisers ... I have a paid accoutn so I dont see the ads, but the ads I do see at the login screen are the typical internet advertising crap that I ( and IMHO no one with a brain ) would touch with a 10 ft pole anyway. Things like classmates , or you jsut won a * , and so on.

I know Pepsi bought a bunch of ad space with them last year, as have some movies.

Interesting. I have not seen those, but then again as I said I dont see many ads on LJ , as I have a paid account and adblockers in place on my network :)
