too many videos

Thank heavens Karen is watching Carlito's Way or I'd still be watching music videos and entertaining weird thoughts. I blame Ang for the fact that I watched an entire Nsync video and contemplated the possibilities of slash. (though I am beginning to understand the fascination with the boyband slash thing)

When I wrote slash in 9th grade, I thought I was a freak with a maladjusted sex drive. The internet showed me what a normal teenage girl I was. It's fascinating to me how much of fan fiction, especially slash, is written by women. Almost worth getting a Psych degree just to write a massive article about the whole thing.

Imagining explaining that one. "Well, yes, you see, when I was fifteen imagining David Bowie and Trent Reznor, um, having passionate sex was what I thought about in biology class." Which is a true statement.

Trying to catch up on emails I need to write with acutal thought and eloquence. Been in a weird mood lately. Things come and go, fleeting. I put off going outside, or writing anywhere but here. Just summer heat restlessness, I suppose.
