May. 7th, 2008 11:01 pmOne of my the cats at my mother's house has FIV. It's Jacks, Jackie Long Tail, the orange tabby cat who desperately wanted to live and come home with us. He's asymptomatic, and strangely the healthiest of all the rescue cats we've taken home. He probably got it out at night, as he has a tendency to fight the neighborhood cats. Damn it Jackie.

Date: 2008-05-08 05:40 pm (UTC)Depending on the type of photos you do, you might want to look over FB's privacy policy and terms of service. They reserve the right to modify and convert to their own use any photo posted on their site.
Technically, this comes down to resizing and maybe slapping a FB logo on it. However, there are no clauses which prevent Facebook from using your images for their own purposes. By putting your image up on Facebook, you are licensing its' use to Facebook, in whatever manner they deem fit.
I occasionally post regular "hey-it's-me" photos, but no longer post studio-sessions there, for this reason.
Facebook?

Date: 2008-05-09 02:20 pm (UTC)When I was a kid, my aunt came to live with us briefly... her cat had kittens, but her milk dried up... turned out she had FeLV, and she and the litter had to be euthanized. Pretty hard for a kid to understand.
