not what I wanted for today

Nothing like brushing and flossing and rinsing just like the dentist said, only to have a filling come out. To be fair, said filling was always at a weird angle just because of the shape of my tooth. Still. Ugh. Going to the dentist this afternoon was not what I had in mind.

Oddly enough, I'm not in hysterics the way I would have been even just two years ago. Dr. Sweeney and his staff have been extraordinary in helping me with my dental phobias. I feel confident they aren't going to terrorize me over it. (I go to Austin Dental Spa, which does indeed look like a spa inside. Also, my dentist looks like a soap opera doctor love interest.) They are all so terribly nice there.
