autumnal sunshine

threeplusfireMy previous entry was deleted when a large orange cat jumped onto my keyboard, smashing tab and capslock and several letters. Mellocreme Pumpkin Candy Tumbleweed I seems pretty well settled into the home. It has been the easiest introduction of one cat to another I've ever witnessed. No hissing, no fighting, nothing. Weird. Aside from eating Koshka's wet food and then depositing the most gigantic cat turd on the guest bed, peeing on my bed and being very stinky for a day, things are good. Still trying to get a good picture.
The weather has finally transitioned to autumn. Mornings are cold and brisk. Yesterday I drove down to 38th & Lamar at the ungodly hour of 9 in the morning - oh morning commutes I don't miss you. A friend was having knee surgery so I brought him home and kept an eye on him to prevent consuming of dairy, sending his surgery dvd to his mother as a Christmas present or any other shenanigans. I was sort of surprised that the pharmacy let me fill a prescription for narcotics without any ID. While it made my morning much easier, it was still weird.
Tired, tired, tired. I am hoping for a lazy day, with a nap thrown in for good measure.
