goodbye Koshka

Koshka died during the night. I hope the ghost kitty found him quickly so he was not alone. I buried him this morning just after dawn, in his favorite bed with his pink mouse. I covered the grave with long branches of rosemary from our giant bush. Filling a grave is just as hard as digging one.

I miss him so much.

I'm sorry he's gone. =( After a tough life he had a happy, loving retirement with you, and that's the best any cat can hope for. Maybe next year you can plant catnip over him, so he'll always have kitty friends.
