goodbye Koshka

Koshka died during the night. I hope the ghost kitty found him quickly so he was not alone. I buried him this morning just after dawn, in his favorite bed with his pink mouse. I covered the grave with long branches of rosemary from our giant bush. Filling a grave is just as hard as digging one.

I miss him so much.

We're still new friends here so I hadn't seen this entry yet. I'm so sorry for your loss - I remember all too well the pain of losing Jack a couple of years ago and have been living with that fear of losing the others all week.

I'll light a candle for Koshka tonight.
