that isn't true! okay that is totally true.

South Park is not high art by any means. I initially refused to watch the show for years because I can only take so many fart jokes in one thirty minute span. But this episode "Elementary School Musical" is sort of a note of cultural connection that is brilliant.

On watching this high school musical movie thing: "This is cool? Guys we are getting old. That's it, I officially have no connection to the human race. I'm going to go home and kill myself."

The hybrid car joke was also excellent.

Because I'm not in touch with the world today, I watched the last half of an incredible bad but hilarious movie this afternoon. Warlock with Julian Sands wearing a ribbon in his hair. I have a thing for bad guys with long blond hair & ribbons, and I am not sure what that says about me.

I also saw the pilot episode of Twin Peaks. Amazing how it is so creepy through such an ordinary exterior.

<3 Twin Peaks!

And ironically, I pictured Julian Sands as Lucius before I saw his actor.

LOVE Julian Sands in, well, anything, but especially in a ribbon.

I did not see South Park, though I hear I missed something good. Of course, I can pretty much sing for you the Sesame Street "Pre-School Musical" skit. Oh yeah!
