cookies
This evening we made eleventy billion German butter cookies. We have filled all kinds of containers with cookies. Hurrah! That means I need to finish off that cherry pie.
The ham is purchased, as are green beans, ginger, cashews, pecans, molasses, apple juice, coffee creamer and dark brown sugar. I made the mistake of purchasing the International Coffee spiced vanilla rum flavor a few days ago. It had a burnt sugar taste and weirdly, all I could think of was barbeque sauce. Today I poured it all out and went back to the reliable CoffeeMate. They make a peppermint mocha this time of year. Nom nom nom.
Tomorrow is bread making day! Cheddar scallion drop biscuits, and perhaps a loaf of something. Maybe an herb-y, crusty country white loaf.
One day I'll have something to write about other than food.
