From the local news today:

An Austin man has been accused of trying to choke his girlfriend with the cord of a Wii video game controller after she became angry that he had eaten all of her Girl Scout cookies, according to an arrest affidavit.

Seriously? Oh Austin. Exploding houses, zombie traffic signs and now assault over Girl Scout cookies.

If they were Thin Mints that he ate all of, I'd be the one choking HIM with the Wii cord.

The Girl Scouts I encountered at Randalls were all out of Thin Mints, and those shortbread cookies with the chocolate bottoms. =( We're stocked for the caramel ones, though.

I was just about to post saying the same thing - the Thin Mints the Girl Guides [I'm Canadian] are selling these days are almost, almost worth choking someone for. And we have an X-Box with cords and everything. It would be really easy. Luckily, I'm not the murdering kind, more the evil eye sort.

Ha! Thank you for bringing that to light! The world is truly good. It's made me wonder if whatever weapon G'Kar from Babylon 5 used [I never really notice weapons] is available on the market - there's one weapon I can see using. Will have to check it out. If you hear of stunning daylight robberies in Ontario using Narn swords, you've never heard of me.
