I planted a tree one day

We have a flowering Cleveland Pear tree in the yard now. I look forward to watching it grow.

The past couple days have soaked us with rain. Probably not enough to break the drought, but enough to make all the green seem saturated, and the wildflowers to explode.

We have a few pear trees in our front yard. I regularly curse the pears when they fall and make a mess of the yard/driveway, but the flowers sure are pretty.
