On the one hand, I agree that the whole "2-D love" thing is, um, unusual, to say the least. On the other hand, the whole article has such a tone of "Japan so crazy" that it's hard for me to take it seriously. You think they would at least find the correct Japanese word (hint: moe does not mean what they say it does).
