I can't count the number of times I'm reading a review where someone has written "wallah!" or "walla!" lately. Unsurprisingly I see this mostly on Wal-Mart and Sam's Club's stuff. This is so petty but it makes me want to jump up and shout It's French you numbskulls, and it's voilĂ damn it. Though apparently in common English usage the accent mark is dropped. For bonus points, wallah is a Hindi word for worker.
Seriously. I am a product of public education in a state that really doesn't care about providing quality education and even I know that.

Also, the current trend here for people saying "literally" in totally inappropriate ways as a filler word. "My legs just literally turned to jelly". I don't think they did...
And lastly... the American disease of being unable to say a number without putting "like" in front of it. I must have seen that like 10 times today.
