threeplusfire: (pie strawberry)

on a grey saturday afternoon

A long, almost linear dream that covered years and years. It was like some alternate reality version of events. I found it all very strange. It made me sleep very late today, until around eleven.

Yesterday I improved my coleslaw. I substituted cilantro for the fennel and made the dressing sweeter. I also made a strawberry pie. The peaches were small and trying to cut them up seemed too much trouble so I just let Mike eat them. The strawberry tart is not my finest moment as I made too much syrup to bind them together and my crust slid while baking the shell and sigh. But hopefully it will just taste excellent and the presentation will matter less.

Yesterday the power flickered a lot, which seemed unusual given that the rain was not very heavy. I lost a couple hours of progress in Dragon Age. Oh well. At least I'm getting to play through every possible opening?

Snarky cookie cakes, delivered. Oh Austin, I love you. I really wish I worked in an office right this moment, so I could order someone a "U Have My Stapler."

Cookie cake - complete and utter LOLz.

What type of DA character are you playing?

That's probably the best thing the Statesman has given me in months.

My first one was an elf mage fellow. Currently I'm working on a city elf rogue woman with a lot of green eye shadow. I really like the city elf starting story, and I kind of want to play through again and see how it is different if you play the other gender.

While generally I enjoy playing mages most in RPGS, I am finding the rogue character pretty fun and easy to handle.

DA is a soul sink. :) There's too much of the game that's inaccessible if you're not a rogue.
