stupid not metal summer cold

threeplusfireI hate feeling sick. It makes me anxious, cranky, restless and whiny. It interferes with the glorious cooking I planned for my weekend because nothing tastes right, my stomach is upset and I don't think coughing my hideous germs into food is a good idea. Ugh. It looks like such a lovely, hot weekend too. I had half dreamed of maybe going swimming. But no. My lung capacity is diminished and I would probably drown, if not die of heatstroke or throw up.
Being sick also makes me melodramatic, in the most ridiculous way.
Of course it only occurred to me this morning we had cough syrup. Not that it has really done much for me so far. There are things I need from the grocery store, but I feel too gross to actually go. Whine!
I stayed up until 3am playing Dragon Age. Partially because I couldn't sleep and partially because I was determined to find yet another achievement. Do not ask me how many hours I have sunk into this game. It is a bit absurd. I view it as research for my Dragon Age fanfiction. Yes.
