AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Quiz that said I wrote like Tolstoy, removed.

The sample I used was a piece of fiction, and I sort of wonder if it just went "Tolstoy!" because of Russian names in the piece. Plugging in part of my journal alternately gave me Margaret Atwood and JD Salinger, so I kind of want to re-write everything I've ever written. (I can't stand Salinger, ugh) It makes me wonder what the analysis looks at to make such comparisons. Regardless, I have a fondness for odd little things like this.

I question my sanity in signing up for an erotic fanfiction challenge during a time in my life where I feel the least sexy or sexually interested ever. Oh kink bingo, I have ideas for you and I really just need to sit down and try to make it work. I had a funny idea for Padma Lakshmi and Eric Ripert, but maybe that's a fandom of one over here.

I don't have any emotional energy to address the Roman Polanski thing. While the system of international justice and jurisdiction lumbers on and invites procedural dispute, I remain disgusted. Don't even fucking start with me on that score.

Sherry called, so instead of just lolling about with a fat paperback, I went and ate lunch with her. She took a picture of the amazing sculptural cucumber. Dinner tonight is spinach quiche. Tomorrow I'm having dinner with Lynn and it looks to be super delicious. It will be a nice counterweight to my junk filled weekend.

I have no idea, but it told me my porn was Margaret Atwood and my other fanfic was Charles Dickens - I think the thing's on crack. :P

Damn. I wish I'd got Tolstoy. I should plug in some of my Eastern Promises fic and see if I do....

I threw 4 different writings (my own) at it and got Shakespeare, Stephen King, Palahniuk, and Dan Brown. If you can find some similarity between those, let me know,

I get a different person depending on what entry I put in....

I got Stephen King twice though, is that good or bad?

I write like...Rudyard Kipling and Chuck Palahniuk? Well, okay, I...guess.

I had a nightmare at one point that Orson Welles was (somehow) on a talk show, defending Polanski; if that really happened, I honestly think I would be tempted to set myself on fire on his lawn.

Apparently, my journal entries are like Margaret Atwood and Dan Brown (puke to both). And my finding aids are like H.P. Lovecraft. I don't really know what to do with that.

Your finding aids are secretly coded rituals to wake the sleeping elders and bring DOOM upon the world!

I apparently write like H P Lovecraft. This bothers me a little. I want to see their algorithm.

Now there is a combo that's so bizarre and yet so oddly compelling. I read a lot of Kipling when I was a kid.

DUDE. Words fail me. And according to that algorithm, that is the sort of fun HG Wells would write. Hee!

I don't actually have a problem with sounding like Kipling, just, the last name that ever would have sprung to mind . Nobody else seems to have got him, though!

Just think of the trouble the Mercury Theater broadcast could've gotten in if he had!

I got Dan Brown (the DaVinci Code - ack) for my journal entries. However, I saved my reputation by running my fiction and getting Douglas Adams. FTW!
