Tyler Clementi killed himself after his roommate broadcast his private, intimate moments with another person of the same gender on the Internet.

These things aren't pranks. They're violence. They're murder. They're hate. Even if the perpetrators are too fucking entertained by their own viciousness to know it.

I'm tired of the argument that bullying is to be expected, that we should just suck it up and get on with it. I'm tired of the argument that "they didn't know it would go this far, this way." I'm tired of every single time people push the blame away and refuse to acknowledge we are implicated by the actions of our peers and by our silence.
