Pardon me for a moment-

HELL YES BORSCHT! ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED!

I'm immensely pleased with myself. Roasting short ribs gave me meat for the borscht as well as bones for making the beef stock base. I roasted several chopped beets and chopped them even further. One giant beet was chopped raw along with the potatoes. I pan fried the cabbage and onions in butter. It burbled away all yesterday and through this morning to produce this rich, crimson soup.

My dollop of sour cream makes this perfect. This will be the best part of the day.

Boy, and you'd be in demand right now... they took out all the city portals in Dalaran and Shattrath!

Portal madness! That's pretty crazy - I guess to help lag? Aww, sometimes I miss playing.

naw, it's to cut down on too-convenient travel hubs for low level characters. Us high levels will get portals to our new end game zones, but the lowbies get to hoof it (or pay a mage)

It's kind of fun, like a whole new game, and a lot of my friends who'd fallen by the wayside have returned to play.
