This Kinesis is one of the best- http://kinesis-ergo.com/advantage.htm I had it over 10 years and it still works, but finally got a bit flaky. It's good enough for you to try it out if you want.
I recently bought one of these- http://typematrix.com/ I'm happy with it, especially for the price. I don't write as much code as I used to, so another Kinesis seemed like overkill.
I also type with a dvorak key layout. If you touchtype quickly in qwerty it's probably not worth learning.
