Someone already mentioned the Mennonites, but the Amish are also a possibility. My Big Love knowledge does not point to the polygamous chicks wearing bonnets. Amish/Mennonites often do. But, then the men also dress "plainly" - beards, typically plain blue/grey shirt/slacks, hat. And, you know, they're not polygamous.

I bet the chick with the notes really regrets not having chosen a song - and that is why she gets annoyed when people ask her about it.
