threeplusfireToday, more than any day in years, I've wanted a cigarette. I don't know why. I dreamed about a lost city, and that it was gently raining outside. In truth there were some hazy clouds but no rain.
The drought is harsh and terrible here. I water the front yard at night about once a week, mostly for the sake of the pear tree. That's all.
Went to the eye doctor today, and walked out with some trial contacts. It's been awhile since I wore contacts but it only took me a half dozen tries to get them in the eyes. It feels weird, like everything has a certain extra depth.
