After watching the hilarious videos from Yogscast about their adventures in Minecraft, I think I'm going to have to start playing. That is if I can ever decide on a username, which is always such a fraught choice. (Any time I see some argument about using "real names" and doing away with handles on the wired world, I want to scream because the amount of Do Not Get It is so high.) Anyway, because all important decisions can only be made with the use of LJ polls, here we are.

I don't think any of those are bad choices, but for some reason moonbat amuses me. Sadpear is a matter of whether you want people who bump into you on minecraft to be able to find your Twitter, your BPAL account, etc.

I separated all my knitting stuff out to texturedknitter, which I thought would work reasonably well for not having crafty or RL people accidentally stumble into fandom stuff... and then I found the 221B forum on Ravelry, where knitters have a picspam post to rival tumblr, and the fic rec post is 14 pages long. Cultures collide!
