That chance of rain has gone to ten percent or none at all. So much for that. Some tropical storm is going to hit Louisiana and Alabama and will probably evaporate on our shores.

Today it was September, but it didn't feel any different from the horrid progression of summer. I put my hand on the warm glass and sighed a lot. I bought some potatoes because I have this crazy craving for soup, even though it remains 100 degrees.

Did you see the way that storm hit the wall around Texas and totally changed direction? Crazy! It was headed right for us, and then ... off it went to Louisiana.
