I won a spot in one of the Google events that happen pretty often around town. Initially I was nervous, because I felt not cool enough to be hanging out with the hip social media power users drinking wine. (I know, I know, kind of ridiculous.) But I have discovered a new delicious place to go even if I still know terribly little about why wine is tasty. Also, I think I made some friends. I met two people who were witty and charming that I talked to most of the night. I hope to have them over for pie or something.

Last night's wine gave me extra peculiar dreams, about living in an enormous house with pine single pane windows. In the dream it rained and all the windows were leaking. Plus the rain brought up tons of snakes. I was glad to wake up in a house with sturdy windows not leaking and no infestations of snakes. Though I could use the rain.
