It was cloudy all day, and there were a handful of sprinkling rain drops. Not enough water to wet the ground though. This year feels cruel.

And we got another 2 inches of rain today, keeping the ground saturated and elevating the risk of another flood if we get hammered by another tropical storm.

But there's no such thing as climate change. /sarcasm

I wish I could send some of our rain your way. :-/

Damn, I was hoping you would have gotten some of today's rain. We had about 5 mins of heavy downpour, and regular rain for another 15 mins or so. Which apparently the buried power lines couldn't cope with, because we lost power for about an hour and a half. When we went out to dinner I thought it looked like the dark clouds had moved in your direction. :(

Well at least someone I know got rain. It sounds so lovely. Though the losing power not so much.
