you belong somewhere you feel free

There is a hint of sunshine in the grey sky, enough to make shadows under the cars, under me as I leap over the edge of the pavement. So hard to get out of bed and get outside, but when I do I realize it's worth it. I feel better. Bounding down the road, watching the clouds, my breath visible in the air, it's all worth it.

Things I should do this year:
Exercise more, on a regular basis
Stop my social smoking
Read more interesting books
Enjoy myself, and my life

The office is still open, so I continue to work for the time being. With any luck, someone will buy the department and I can keep having my job for awhile longer. I really just don't want to hassle with finding another job right now. I have a full load of classes in the spring and I have to do all that work to get ready for Charles University.

Once again(third time!) I'm tempted to drop Astronomy. I need to start taking these damn Area C requirements so I can graduate. Someone promise me that in grad school I won't have to do this.
