threeplusfireMy favorite part of work yesterday was the guy about my age who didn't know the difference between fiction and non fiction. Oh yes, that was a fun one. Though later I had a pleasant conversation with a gentleman on family histories and military traditions. He had a walking stick with a solid brass knob on top.
The Fun fest at St Thomas More was so nice, I wish I had been able to spend all day there. Snowcones and hotdogs and kids running around. I played the wine wheel a couple times, and wandered around looking at all the stuff up for auction. I wish I had been able to play bingo. The weather was nice, sunny and cool. I just felt so happy there.
My RCIA person is in Houston right now, and will go through the Rite of Welcoming in two weeks. Her boyfriend is in the National Guard and was called up, so they are spending some time together before he leaves.
Czech test this morning. Wasn't too bad, except for forgetting a few words. Must make my way to all my other classes and learn things.
