Dreamed that I had put all this stuff into storage a long time ago, filling this little space with boxes and cds and all kinds of odd loose ends. Years go by and I'm not sure if I have been paying the rent. Yet I somehow wind up will all this stuff again, old cds, pictures of my bedroom in the late 80s. Walking around in that area behind Guadalupe where I usually park. Strange strange stuff.

odd thoughts

PErhaps it comes from wondering what has happened to the accumulated bits of a lifetime. The Breyer horses, my old bedspread, the tapes and papers and who knows what else.

It felt so terribly real that when I woke up I racked my brain trying to remember if I had ever put anything into storage.

I recall dreaming about previously prized items. Three in particular. I think it was expressing to me a sense of insecurity ... needing my 'old comforts' .. or maybe just a desire to rekindle the comfort feelings with those items.
