Surprise dried vomit - just one more of the joys of cats!
The tweets are so sad. It reminds me of 'Space Oddity' a little. The broken English translations make it seem more tragic somehow, like an animal or a child not quite fully able to understand what is happening.
It would make a good (although upsetting) story... the jade rabbit injured and unable to make it back home, lying still on the vast and lifeless world, hoping its master can get help before the lunar night descends.
