I love October. It is the time of change, the coming glorious darkness of autumn. Also pumpkins and Halloween.

In back to front land it is Spring and all is opening up and light and fresh. Birdies chirping, new life, new growth. . . I love it but am excited to be going away to experience some more of the Autumn descent into darkness.

I love October too. It's such a wonderfully atmospheric month - just saying October brings to mind so many images, of turning leaves and pumpkins and mists and dark evenings and warm fires.
