Today I cleaned the dvd/game shelf. It was dusty as hell and probably hadn't been moved in five years. It was gross. Especially when I decided to move the actual shelf. Ugh. But the filth is gone now and I can feel less bad about myself. I'm slowly cleaning things that have been ignored for a long time, because several friends are coming to visit for a week in August. I'm going to have people in my house often during the week because air conditioning, internet, snacks, etc.

Therapy goes well. It's a shame there's no way for me to be friends with my therapist afterwards. We share tastes in books and brunch.

The rain recently has been lovely. It's been something like five years since we had this many days of rain in the forecast. Right now it is pouring down outside, and I wouldn't mind if it just does this all day.

I love Pandora radio and the station we've made based entirely around Darude's Sandstorm.

The rain is so nice! I just stood outside for a few minutes, and it smells so good.

Josh gets mad though because the front lawn needs to be mowed constantly. It grows SO FAST when it rains.

Just give up and embrace the jungle. Buy him a machete.

A machete or a scythe would probably be easier on the crazy jungle in our back yard. If we let it go, it straight up looks like a savanna out there.

Alternately, you could get a GOAT.

We've been joking about that literally since we first looked at this house.
