Happy International Women's Day

RUSSIA: INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY:

International Women's day is marked by women's organizations around
the world. It is a day to honor women, especially working women.
In Russia this is a national holiday. Flowers and gifts are presented to
women workers and men heap presents and chocolates on their wives
and girlfriends. In the Soviet era women with large families were praised
on this day as "Hero Mothers."
