ARMENIA: MARTYR'S DAY

This is a solemn day in Armenia. Martyr's Day is also known as
Armenian Genocide Memorial Day. This national holiday commemorates
the 1915-16 massacre of more than one million Armenians by the Ottoman
Turks. At the time governments around the world condemned the crime,
but to this day the Turkish government denies its extent.

Brief facts about Armenia.

I don't spend as much time online here, trying to be considerate of the phone line and other people. But my roommates have vanished so I can sit here in my pajamas and type away.

Saw Luke today on campus. He looks so much the same. Still working on an art degree. He was part of the journalism crowd I hung out with in high school. I watched basketball and hockey at his house, and listened to the Crystal Method for the first time. Luke played in the Droogs, in his garage. He lived only a couple blocks away from me. I remember John taking me home late one night from there.

I keep falling asleep in the afternoon. Don't know why or how I could possibly be so tired.
