I blame Melynda, since she had this wacky dream about being crowned Queen of England the night before. Apparently the rules of sucession had changed, and they wanted an American queen. So in her dream she was running late, wearing the bridesmaids dress that is her only fancy dress, running through the parking lot of Westminster with Professor L. and myself in tow. Hah, the dreams of English-History major college kids.
So last night, I dreamed of Professor L. though without the royal part. Mostly we talked on the couch, and wandered in this toy store full of Cronenberg-like things. We were being very silly, and he picked me up and carried me across the parking lot. It was a comfortable dream.
Again, I blame Melynda, since I haven't even seen the man since Saturday. She ran into him in the library and teased me about having handsome professors.
One week and I think I'm adjusting to this new way of living. Sharing a bathroom peeves me. I'm way too used to having a space to spread out all my soap and being able to take 30 minute showers whenever I want. *sigh* I'll deal.
We're going to eat a real American breakfast of bacon and eggs. Cause the idea was just too campy and wonderful to pass up. Heh. Mmm coffee.
I think I might go swimming this afternoon. The weather will be perfect, and the pool looks so inviting. I want to go to the grocery store and buy oranges, grapefruits and strawberries as well.
