May. 23rd, 2001 04:06 pmSpent my last day on campus. Enjoying the cloudless sky and breeze, walking from building to building. I love campus in the summer, it's so quiet. Ran some errands, said goodbye to Keith. Drank coffee and italian soda in Metro, which was strangely empty. For some time I was the only person upstairs. Sold Deb's books back and got $25, hurrah. Talked with Melynda for awhile. She lost a second friend to a drunk driver over the weekend. The random stupidity of mankind angers me.
My day was made absolutely fabulous by my package buddy Rinnywee. She sent me an amazing little box of wonders. Lemon sorbet sachet, herb scented oil, divine soap, a lavender candle and holder, postcards, and delightful hanging gnomes. Hee. The hedgehog card is so damn cute I can't stop giggling every time I see it. My favorite gift of all is the handmade metal candle holder. It's a vine with two glass balls, like berries, and a blue painted butterfly. It's just perfect, and came with a pretty square candle. I ran to my computer to post to the Package gang right after I opened it, so excited and happy. It really made my day.
