why am I going to work?

Mananged to miss my bus stops twice this morning. Drifting in and out of consciousness all day. My head aches like an overripe watermelon.

my head still hurts, but not as much

Drove home listening to Peter Murphy, a change from the usual. Work was extra hectic, with a line of twenty people at 9:58pm. People with returns and exchanges and complicated purchases, all waiting til the very last minute. Blood... boiling... temperature... rising...

Took my cookies into work today, and everyone enjoyed them. I take pleasure in being able to cook delicious things.

Now I'm home, sitting next to Melynda on the couch. We're both playing around with our laptops, listening to classical music and smoking. It's pleasant.
