it's too balmy to be winter

Yesterday at twilight I saw a red tailed hawk leap into the air. So many large birds about lately. Ravens, hawks, owls, and the ever present buzzards. Right now, a rather large bird is circling lazily in the air just outside our balcony. Perhaps there is something dying in the woods out there. What a strange thought.

Saw Lord of the Rings again last night for the fourth time. I greatly desire the soundtrack, to listen to while driving far and freely on the highways.

Installing lots of new software onto my machine, so that I can spend even more time messing around with things that are not my job or school. I'm going to play with Hana's sons sometime soon, so I should have the new game ready for them.
